Banka BioLoo Limited is a pioneer in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WaSH) infrastructure. We provide sanitation infrastructure and turnkey, human waste management solutions and services, involving innovative and simple bio-digester technology patented by Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), the R&D arm of the Indian Ministry of Defence. We are a licensee (through transfer of technology) and have partnered DRDO for technology commercialization for large-scale deployment of sanitation systems. We also provide sanitation operations and maintenance (O&M) services to one of the largest rail networks globally, the Indian Railways and ensure a pleasant travel experience for millions of passengers every day.
Sanjay Banka, Executive Chairman, says: "We joined the Race to Resilience in continuation of our commitment to providing resilient solutions in the area of water, sanitation and hygiene (WaSH). While profit is important to us as a business, people and planet are rather more important in all that we do, whenever and wherever."

Bio-toilets: Building a Climate Resilient Society through Environmentally Friendly Sanitation
CBRE is investing, implementing and collaborating with industry to transition our own and our client’s assets and operations to achieve the level of decarbonisation needed, as set out by the Paris Agreement. However, following a year of increasing weather extremes and an emerging energy crisis, it is increasingly evident that we will only mitigate climate risks if we accelerate adaptation actions. Signing up to the Race to Resilience pledge is a crucial step in addressing the adaptation gap and ensuring climate resilient approaches are integrated into our net zero deployment.
Cervest’s mission is to empower everyone to adapt with climate change. We are excited to partner with Resilience First, and join the #RacetoResilience to drive real action and adaptation alongside company and government Net Zero efforts. Cervest provides asset-level climate intelligence so customers and partners can understand the risks facing their assets from climate hazards such as flooding, extreme temperatures and drought, under multiple emission scenarios over the short, medium and long term. This science-backed insight allows them to build informed resilience and adaptation plans including retrofitting, relocation and purchase decisions.
