Webinar: 12 January 2021, 3pm to 4pm

Following the recent onslaught from Covid-19 and the resurgence in calls for a #greenrecovery, Resilience First looks forward to hearing from Shirley Rodrigues, Deputy Mayor for Energy and Environment, on the GLA’s latest plans to achieving the ambitious target of London becoming a net-zero city by 2050.

During the session, we will address the opportunities and challenges that the pandemic has created for transitioning towards a more sustainable way of living as well as the issues of air pollution across London, delivery of the ‘Energy for Londoners’ programme (which is helping Londoners generate more low-carbon electricity), and plans to boost London’s recycling rates, all elements that contribute to making London more resilient.
