The UNFCCC’s global Race to Resilience was launched in January 2021. It sets out an ambition for climate resilience, putting people and nature first in pursuit of a resilient world where we don’t just survive climate shocks and stresses but thrive in spite of them.
The campaign’s aim is to catalyse action by non-state actors that builds the resilience to climate risks by 2030 of 4 billion people from vulnerable groups and communities. Non-state actor-led regional, national or global initiatives are invited to express their interest to join the Race to Resilience. Initiatives must share the vision and goals of the Race to Resilience.
As a Partner Initiative to the Race to Resilience campaign, Resilience First is calling for 22 global CEOs to join our campaign and pledge climate action on behalf of their organisations in 2022. All details on our work on the Race to Resilience and how you can get involved are available here.
